At St. Bakhita Catholic Worker House, we respect your right to control how your personal data is used. Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

We will respond to your request within 30 days, or up to 90 days for complex requests, as permitted by law.

5. How We Handle Opt-Out Requests

All opt-out and privacy requests are processed without discrimination.

We will confirm receipt of your request and provide updates on its progress.

We maintain secure records of consent and opt-out actions to comply with legal requirements.

Requests are typically processed within 30 days (EU) or 45 days (U.S.).

6. Cookies and Consent Records

When you withdraw or update cookie consent, our system records the change securely and applies your new preferences immediately. These records are retained only as long as necessary to demonstrate compliance.

7. Authorized Agents (U.S. Residents)

If you are a California resident, you may authorize another person (an “authorized agent”) to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

Proof of the agent’s authorization to act on your behalf, and

Verification of your identity, to protect your privacy.
