Greetings friends,
We would love it if you would join us on February 3rd for our annual ST. BAKHITA FEAST DAY CELEBRATION. All are welcome!
This has always been a very popular event and such a joyous evening filled with honoring St. Josephine Bakhita, the remarkable patron saint of human trafficking and slavery. It is a delightful gathering full of sacred moments, fun, and fellowship. Plus, delicious soup!
Here is the itinerary for the evening:
4:30pm Adoration
5:15 Mass
Soup Feast to follow
In the words of Dorothy Day, the cofounder of the Catholic Worker Movement, “We have all known the long loneliness and we have learned that the only solution is love and that love comes with community. It all happened while we sat there talking, and it is still going on.”
It sure is still going on. Come see for yourself!
Blessings and peace,
Anne
