Greetings Friends of St. Bakhita Catholic Worker House!
First, and foremost, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your presence at our Open House on September 25th. What a heartwarming display of faith and goodness. This home has truly taken the efforts of so many generous individuals and we could not be more grateful for the love that is shared. And that feeling continues.
Our first four community members moved in the following day. I wish you all could have seen the faces of the women as they chose and moved into their rooms. There were times I thought my heart would literally burst with joy. Our days have included community meals, mindful yoga, workout sessions in the health and wellness space and our first Yahtzee challenge!
