Greetings Friends of St. Bakhita Catholic Worker!
We would like to wish you all a joyful Easter celebration. This season of hope reminds us of our namesake, St. Josephine Bakhita, who exemplifed what it meant to have hope in the face of adversity. Through your generosity and prayers the women at St.Bakhita House will share in this great spirit of hope and new life!
Though we do not have all of the details, we want you to know that we will begin moving into St. Bakhita House towards the end of May. There could not have been a more appropriate time of year to have received this good news from the generous leaders of the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Joseph. Resurrection, new life, and hope converge into one big HALLELUIA!!!
